How to measure your pontoon boat

A technical drawing of a flatbed wheelchair accessible vehicle with labels indicating dimensions, including a beam width of 102 inches, and specific beam length ranges from 17 to 28 feet.

To ensure you order the correct size cover, you’ll need two key measurements: length and width.

  1. Length – Measure from the very front tip of the deck (bow) to the very back edge of the deck (stern).

    • Do not include the motor in your measurement.

    • If your deck has a rounded or pointed bow, measure to the furthest point forward.

  2. Width – Measure the widest point of your boat’s deck from side to side.

    • Measure outside edge to outside edge of the deck railing.

  3. Extra Tip – Our covers are designed with straps that attach to your boat’s cleats. Double-check that your cleats are positioned in a way that the straps will fit evenly along both sides of the boat.

  4. Accuracy Matters – Always measure on a flat, level surface and double-check both measurements before placing your order.
